With righteous Fury I attest with you brother human being, and dreamer dear. For today when all the days i looked up in those dying after noons of bloodshed and horror, of pain and suffering, of mangled corpses and long gone testimonies to smile with a certain degree whispering one day, I looked up instead and just cried. Truth be told I was not old enough for that true prince born in that time. However his jingle will never get out of my head. All that looked upon him were inspired. Out of all those inventors and gadeters in this pisblithering age making there stupid wasted toys, instead of working on more important concepts for the human race as a hole. Science is now only spurned by greed and commercialism.
I will tell you what I shall hold this flag till I die with the mere highest sense that one day one will pick it up when I am wasted ash. Come all ye Brave dreamers dear and losers lost among the undaunted flock, come and challenge the stair ways of heaven like Galileo old.

Grand poem, of dreamers plight and a great shared dream and the rape of the modern era.

The way to the heavens has perished, the change of America cut that off. I had hopes that the current presidency would have kept NASA and hope for the future open. No that is frivolous and not needed. I remember as a kid wanting to be an astronaut, I also remember when the idea was announced for the international space station. My heart soared and I wanted more then anything to visit. That was the fifth grade, as an adult the government has destroyed that.

A little bit more real then me, but still a first more closer step, then my childhood epochs of stepping to other worlds , meeting up with other life forms and finding unusual things out there in the void. Now I’m stuck here doing that on earth. Destroyed too. Still each age is a dream that is dying and one that is coming to birth. Good luck fellow dream, and still dream with all your heart, not for this age but a far far one that is the greatest gift of us all.

I don't pay much attention to the news, so could you summerize context here? the government cut funding for NASA hoping private companies will then choose to try to cash in on space travel?

I"m not sure what to think of that.

at this point, I'm not sure the government is better than any private capitalist...maybe the private capitalist will actually do a better job of taking it forward?

I guess I've always been a bit surprised it didn't go forward faster than it has, in my lifetime.
