The Torpedo Frigate is a mobile weapon platform, able to carry deadly plasma torpedoes in its legs, which it passes towards its specialized forelimbs for launching. These massive projectiles contain volatile, super-heated gas, which can melt through even the armored hull of a capital ship when released. Each torpedo is a creature in its own right, able to track its target with a suite of sensitive eyes and antennae, and can adjust its trajectory in order to maximize damage. Torpedo Frigates are susceptible to attacks by smaller fighters, and so are commonly equipped with defensive plasma cannons that can help to ward off aggressors and intercept projectiles.
