Actually, the setting of this image was supposed to be in a dark forest for some reason, I painted it very bright. o.o
This is a commission for WolfWithBloodyPaws of a white werewolf being wrapped and held tight by a serpent.
Yay, another painting that totally has been done with brushes and paint only. But I must say, I will never attempt drawing realistically because I suck at it!
This one took me ages and since I still need to get used to move the brush, the paint did what I wanted after I freaked out and painted the face entirely dark brown. xD

so...very beautiful...the detail is absolutely stunning...
and regardless of original idea of dark forest, the brighter setting gives it so much more expression and feeling in the depths to the interaction of the snake and werewolfess.
amazingly well done, beautiful coloring all around.

Ich hab zum größten Teil die von Caran D'Ache und dann welche von Schmincke benutzt. Ich misch immer alles Erdenkliche zusammen und schau ob es funktioniert. Auf keinen Fall sollst du Tempera und Acryl zusammenmischen. Das hab ich mal gemacht und es ist ziemlich ekelig was dabei herauskommt. XD Entweder die haben sich nicht vertragen oder waren einfach nur qualitativ schlecht. x)
Ich glaub, das liegt an den grundverschiedenen Strukturen.
Beide sind zwar wasserlöslich, Tempara sind aber im Gegensatz zu Acryl Farben auf der Basis natürlicher Rohstoffe, früher hat man Ei dafür verwendet. Acrylfarben ist nix anderes als flüssiges Plastik. Deswegen vertragen die sich vermutlich nicht.
