This pic was a good training for me to get back into the swing of drawing again.
Here we have Orolin, my husky OC. He was travelling with some other dog anthros into a savanna like country in his search for his princess he had sworn to protect. In the heat of the blazing sun of this hostile country, they collapsed of thirst and awoke to find out that they had been captured by some catfolk who don´t respind very well to tresspassers in their country. So after beeing aided back to some strength the three of them are led bound to the cats´ leader of this group who interrogates Orolin and co about the reason why they had entered their land, because in this story a huge war plunged allmost all countries into fights with each other.
Orolin stays calm and answers to all the question of the captain honestly and thus persuaded the cats to help them out to get to their destination safely.
This scenario was inspired by Tolkien´s Lord of the Rings novel, in particular the scenario where Sam watches Frodo being interrogated by Faramir. In the book this scenario is a bit different from the scene in the movie, because Faramir in the book is less dangerous, more wise and calm then his movie counterpart. Frodo is not tied up in the book unlike in the movie.
I allways liked this scenario, so I drew it for Orolin too

thanks very much *bows*
Indeed. But Orolin is kind of a knight, but his travels in search for his princess led him to many different countries and he often had to change his attire. Plus the fashionstyles in this world are a wild mix of western and eastern clothings throughout the centuries in our real world. That means you can encounter japanese kimonos as well as the fashionstyle in France in the 18th century, you can find Victorian Age fashion along with ancient Roman style and so on.

but that was a missunderstanding, the inspiration was the described scenario in Tolkien´s original novel, and not the scenario from the movie. Book and movie defered in this particular case, starting with the point that Frodo and Sam never were tied up by Boromir´s men in the book, it was only said that Boromir stepped down from the tradition and rule his father had set up that tresspassers of Ithilien and Gondor as such has to be bound at first.
In the movie he stood true to this tradition. Furthermore in the book Boromir interrogated Frodo under the sun of Ithilien and not as they allready reached Heneth Anuun, the forbidden waterfall.
Sorry for my babbling about this topic *fanrat squieking*

I'm still impressed by your skills and your talent for make a draw very attiring. All these character in this pic have theyr own story and past . I realy want know them even more now X3 also it's realy a good scene that could appear in a Comic or a movie, they all are very well represent and we see how much the lyon is important at the face of people in his back .
It's interesting to put a kind of Lyon king in a savane-like coutry and make him supported by other savane-animal like the Sheeta ( or it's a Leopard ?) Also I see a lynx a tiger and a panther too but the one than intrig me the most is Lynx cause of his cloths, do he is a kind of sorcer or the King's counseillor ? The panther is clairly a servant and the tiger and Sheeta seem be a kind of gard I even say they seem be part of the Royal-gard.
In any case only this draw have make me want know more about this world and Orldin , do you already do a comic or a story on him ? Realy it's a very good scene eternal, as much in the way of you have draw it than the story she is able to give to the watcher, an amazing and exelent work :p

Yes i know about Paru Itagaki´s manga Beastars and also about the plans to make it an anime tv show.
To be honest, the drawing style of Paru Itagaki is not my cup of tea, but the story is really captivating. Like Zootopia for adults.
If the drawings would look like Juanjo Guarnido´s Blacksad, this story would be the top mature anthro story ever

I'm aggree with you than Beastars 's draw style is.... well... a bit doodle and very special and not realy attiring but like you I'm aggree the story is what make this manga amazing. So when you read Beastars it's especialy for the story and the draw pass in background and you finish by not care about anymore ^^.
I can't wait to see the animation because the style of draw is better , but as all anime adaptations I'm scared the anime don't follow the manga and we finish with a totaly different story.. like for the first adaptation of Full Metal Alchimist or Ao No Exorcist.. so with an anime very bad and unrespectuous of the manga and a totaly different story than clean lot of characters so I hope beastars will not encounter the same treatment
But one thing is rassuring is the studio taking the anime between his hands, he have do lot of very good animation in the past I even think it's the same studio animating The promised Neverland that is an exelent adaptation of the manga of same name so I'm confident for Beastars ^^ !
Also we'll have a CGI show of Rocket Raccoon and one for Sly Cooper this year it promise to have lot of anthro show for 2020 and why not.. maybe a Zootopia Zootopia sequel ? >w<

Great Work. Looks like inspiration for your next comic story.
Meanwhile, how's that missing princess doing: Pawn (or Chess Player) in orchestrating the War? Forced Marriage? Required Sacrifice? Sold to Slavery? Interrogation via Tickle Torture? (Perhaps in some far away "Castle of Laughter" XD)

I allready have a comic project in progress yet so little time to focus on it.
About the princess: Both as a figure to orchestrating the war as well as forced marriage...
yet the war bedween two countries plunged all the other countries into this conflict. At the end of Orolin´s story, his country doesn´t exist any longer...
