HEAD
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with
each feature of the head of the costume. If you are reviewing only a set
of ears, your answers would also go in this section.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is lined with lycra so it is soft and plush while functional.
The fit is a bit tight near the ridge of my nose but nothing to the
point of being uncomfortable. The breathability is incredible, I rarely
get warm due to poor ventilation. The vision is incredible, I can see in
my peripherals easily, even with added eyelids attached. Cleaning the
head is super easy and not time consuming.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks
from the outside.
The craftsmanship on the head is incredible. Symmetry is perfect,
markings symmetrical, match my design. The shaving is even, the
transition to fur types is flawless. The fur quality is incredibly,
brushing it is easy.
The expression of the head is perfect. The eyes and mouth are static. I
have attachable eyelids for expression changes. Their fun to play with!
The head appeals to me aesthetically.
Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head
has.
Additionally the head has huge removable ears that snap on and off with
heavy duty clips. This makes transporting the head and protecting the
ears easy.
The ears while being on clips have a bit of a bounce to them, making it
fun to shake my head and make them wiggle. The ear shape is phenomenal.
BODY
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with
each feature of the body of the costume.
If you are reviewing armsleeves or legs/pants that are seperate from a
bodysuit, your answers would also go in this section.
(Appendages, such as hands, feet, tails, etc., are discussed later.)
Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The body fits near perfectly, a little loose in the stomach area. It is
incredibly comfy to wear, making movement enjoyable. The quality of the
suit is incredible, however a seam or two has popped in my shoulder /
armpit area. They were simple fixes and I blame the damages partially on
my washing machine.
The body is not lined but the end of the fabric is lined with the same
color minky as my pawpads, ensuring a clean and soft edge where my skin
is touching.
Airflow is incredible, the only place that gets stuffy is my thighs,
which evidently have so much stuffing it’s unavoidable. I have never
been able to suit for hours on end until this suit.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks
from the outside.
The craftsmanship on the body is incredible. Symmetry is perfect,
markings symmetrical, match my design. The transition to fur types is
flawless, especially from chest to stomach. The fur quality is
incredibly, brushing it is easy.
The color selection is spot on. My body suit is padded plantigrade so
there is padding in the thighs and butt. The shape is perfect,
exaggerated in the best way possible without looking lumpy or unnatural.
The body matches the concept art perfectly.
HANDS AND FEET
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with
each feature of the hands and feet of the costume.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The hands and feet fit perfectly. Both are comfortable to wear and do
not restrict movement. My wrists will show a little of I stretch, no
issues with ankles ever showing. Neither hands or feet slide off,
putting them on is easy.
The feet are lined with Lycra and built on a slipper style. They are
plush inside. The hands are not lined. Both have the end of the fabric
lined with the same color minky as my pawpads, ensuring a clean and soft
edge where my skin is touching.
The only issue I’ve found is the middle of my finger seems have popped,
nearly all of them. They were harder fixes and I blame the damages
partially on my washing machine. Otherwise no pawpads have come undone,
nothing! Cleaning is easy.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look
from the outside.
The craftsmanship on the hands and feet is incredible. Symmetry is
perfect, markings symmetrical, match my design. The transition to fur
types is flawless, especially from long to short fur on my hands. The
fur quality is incredibly, brushing it is easy.
The color selection is spot on. My paw pads on the hands and feet are
minky with an embroidered lining. The fingers are also stuffed for a
plush look. The stuffing is free flowing in my fingers right now but my
maker ensures to replace that with sealed stuffing inserts soon. The
feet came with sandals to protect the pawpads and bottom sole. They are
made of yoga mat & elastics. Unfortunately one of the sandals have
already broken but they are easily replaceable.
Everything matches my concept art perfectly.
TAILS
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with
each feature of the tail(s) of the costume.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The tail is a bit loose fitting against my bodysuit, on its own it’s
perfect. I opted out of a attached tail when offered but need to wear
two belts if I want the tail to be flush against the body suit.
The tail does not restrict movement however wearing two belts around my
waist is uncomfortable. I’ve brought this up to my maker and we’re
working on a solution. It mostly likely due to the body suit tail hole
being to big.
No seams have popped or ripped. Pulling on it just makes the tail no
longer flush with the bodysuit. It is just a stuffed shaped tail. Easy
to clean, matches my concept perfectly.

OVERALL SATISFACTION
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with the overall
buying experience, including your interactions with the maker and the
resulting final product. How was your concept art realized?
I drew my own concept art for the maker. The maker did not alter my
design and nothing was simplified. Any changes were discussed and agreed
upon before hand. They even altered things I was clear on needed to be
changed.
The maker chose to match the aesthetics of my own artwork rather then be
specific to species. I really enjoy that, it’s my character, my unique
art, rather than any other fennec fox. This made the suit match the
concept art flawlessly.
How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything fits together besides the tail not being flush with the
bodysuit. The colors are consistent, there is only visible gaps between
my wrists occasionally when I stretch. The only loose part of the
bodysuit is the stomach but it all looks correct when together.
The costume is consistent with the makers style and quality. Although
the style is more based off my concept art, it was exactly what I was
expecting from them. They would hard with me to ensure that.
How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a
quote?
Found opening on Twitter & personally contacted on Telegram. I signed a
contract, filled out what qualities I wanted the suit to have and paid
my down deposit.
How satisfied are you with the response time from the
maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
We communicated through Telegram only. We did switch from business
telegram to personal telegram.
How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer
service and of the maker?
I am incredibly satisfied with the makers professionalism. I was treated
with respect and they were pleasant to work with. Their was a mix of
business and friendship communication. However when it came down to
serious suit questions, it was professional. They never made excuses and
were open about their work schedule.
How satisfied are you with how long your project took to
complete?
My project was finished within less then a year. The queue was times
appropriately. I was aware of my placement. Originally we had planned
for a con deadline in March but pushed it back to May to avoid it being
rushed. I was fine with this and any changes were communicated
appropriately. I had the pleasure of visiting their workshop while they
completed my suit, I was able to take home that day half the suit with
the other half being shipped.
The head, tail and body of the suit were shipped. Two day shipping,
tracking was provided. They did get caught in Canadian Customs from USA
and I had to be interviewed at the airport before it was released. It
was not a cheap shipping method but the maker handled the situation
promptly. I got the parts in time.
Are you happy with the product you received?
The product exceeded my expectations. The price I paid was worth it. The
items seem like they will last a long time, I absolutely adore wearing
my suit. I cried after my first convention wearing it because I haven't
enjoyed suiting like that in years.
