Okay, got another commission up and out the door… er… inbox.
Well, he technically accepted the charges… bah, it’s past midnight over here. I can’t be bothered by little things like keeping my own crazy metaphors in check. lol
Seriously though, this is another piece of chapter art for his ongoing “Chaos In Equestria” story My buyers got rolling over on his page. Swing by and give it a good read if you’re into the whole Sonic / Pony crossover phenomenon. If your particularly curious as to what’s got good ol’ Sonic so over-the-top angry in this scene, then the prolog chapter is a good place to grab a sneak peek.

Speaking of angry hedgehogs, would you get a load of the Blue Blur here. He’s all decked out in his crazed super state of Fleetway fame getting ready to unleash some serious hurt onto the poor doctor whom probably did something bad enough to deserve it. I really got to fall back on some of my favorite effects to get this image to work. The heavy foreground shadows on Sonic make him look quite menacing and I used a handful of comic tricks to get the page layout just right. I also reused a new trick I just leaned working with lightning bolts to get those wicked sparks coming out of his eyes. Those came out great.
I got to cram plenty of details into this one too. Eggman is pretty roughed up here, and look at all the mechanics I got going on in the BG. Good stuff.
All and all I guess the moral of the story is you don’t want to make Sonic angry. You won’t like Sonic when he’s angry.
