Believe it or not, Satchel the cat, likes rats. He plays with them, in a very uncat like way. He will very softly touch their tails, and then let them run all over him while he sleeps. He also will curl up around them. If I have a group of them out and about, he always insists on laying in the middle of the group and having them groom him.

He is always fond of babies too, until they try to get at his nips. Then he walks away. I never leave him unsupervised with any of the rats, no matter their age. He has never given me any reason to watch him, asides from being a cat. He really likes his rat buddies. The babies liked how warm he is.
