The featured mecha there is the ZGMF-X999A ZAKU Mass Production Trial Type. This unit was only seen in action in teh SEED Destiny Astray manga where it was on a field test in a jungle and was later forced to enter actual combat as the other side, which is the Earth Alliance forces refuse to acknowledge the Junius Seven Treaty.

It was a testbed for the millennium series of M.S. [Mobile Suit] to be produced, which is the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior and the ZGMF-1001 ZAKU Phantom
