A friend needed me, she needed me there for her... she felt conflicting emotions, and I was there for her. I asked her, "you seem so sad, and I want to help you.. is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"

she said, with little hesitation... "just be here for me."

I said "I will always be here, I will always be by your side, and I don't ever plan on leaving.."

"promise?"

I was willing to be there for her, every up and down, and I still am to this day... I never plan on breaking my promise to her. ever.
