First off-- yes, I know! A pic with no basketball!

I volunteer at my local public radio station, KRCB, where I have a regular on-air shift on Saturday mornings. Because of FC'10, I wasn't able to be on the air last weekend, so Jim Laveroni, the host of the show Percussion Discussion, was kind enough to cover for me. When I explained why I needed his help, he was amused by my description of the con, and he got me to promise him something from it.

I always keep my promises.

I commissioned this wonderful drawing from the incredibly talented  balto, who will be the GOH of this year's Rainfurrest convention. I can't think of a better person to represent our fandom. And he did a wonderful job of showing a non-furry just how much fun our fandom is-- Mr. Laveroni really loved this pic.
