I'll have to ask him what the premise is of their particular scuffle. If I am not mistaken they should be on the same side fighting Islamist freedom fighters. Hmm...
About the art, wow...he showed me the linework...and it was very cool. You did an outstanding job on that lion, very powerful and dangerous. The stance, the claws, and the bared teeth just RADIATE ferociousness and being dangerous.
The tiger is also equally ferocious and dangerous. I really like how he's laying down on the dirt yet facing his attacker in that pose. Looks hard to pull off.
