This is probably the best pic of damages on my street. All that white on the trees is ice, about an inch thick on everything. Plus all the trees down...no wonder we were without power.O.O

wow that looks like how much snow we USUALLY have each year. but it has been mostly bare here all winter.

were you able to get heat when the power was out? I hope you have a fireplace or a wood stove

we have been getting around this much snow a year too, but the big ice storms have really thrown us all off. As for fireplace or wood stove.....I wished LOL. It got pretty cold in our house but nothing unbearable I guess. 50 was the low. Lots of blankets and snuggle time.^^

Awww you poor little bear! Good thing you were hibernating or it coulda have been extra-scary for you in the icy darkness...

Up here in SE Ontario things were positively balmy between -3 and +5 C. It's starting to get cold and snow again now though...

this was taken last week, we had horrible ice storms and no power for 3 or so days.

wow where you live mj, looks like St. Louis a few years ago. We were without power for a week.

I live up in iowa, little town nowhere in particular...was hit and miss with this storm, but 3 counties were considered disaster areas including mine. All I have to say is ice storms suck!!!!
