From my sketchy memory of runes from school I guess it says something like «Hehgr lehggt Bragdr ijm Kampa getotkgt», which translates to roughly «here lay Bragdr/Brager and/with Kampa/Kamma murdered/dead/burried»... Which is actually funny, since mye name is Brage Is it a sign of my imminent death?! Hopefully not
It could perhaps, though much less likely, also mean something along the lines of «here lay great deeds and battlemind fallen/weak» in a weird dialect, but I am just guessing from my limited memory on the subject though I will say it intriuged me, being so close to my culture
This is pretty interesting and surprisingly close, my thought process was translate "Here lies Brandr slain in battle" into German which comes out as"Hier liegt Brandr im Kampf getötet" then ciphered that into elder futhark.
Gotta say I didn't expect anyone to even try to translate it.

I actually guessed it was german, as the phrasing and words was weird if it was in norse, but norse is so diverse that it was possible it was just a german-norse dialect. After all, the two languages was much more similar at that time even than scandinavian and german is today... And I couldnt help myself, living in a small country with a (I like to think) big culture, I had to comment on a runestone
