***This is a Next level Commission***
Man, these upper tier commissions are coming in fast! This time someone ordered up a major mishmash of a commission by requesting me to combine assets from numerous franchises.
For starters we have ourselves the edgy one himself, Shadow the Hedgehog, in his Sonic Boom variant form no less! He wields the Chaos Blade, a sword from the Dark Souls universe. It is a seriously gnarly weapon and a nice fit for the Ultimate Life Form. Finally this whole scene is taking place just in front of the Castle of the Two Sisters located deep within the Everfree Forest, a lush and wooded area ripped straight out of the My Little Pony Universe. That is three franchises represented in this one image making this quite the crossover commission.
Shad is pretty clearly the focal point of this image, and I am more than pleased with how he came out. The hog exudes strength and is more than confident in his actions. He controls his weapons every move and practically dares his opponent to defy him. His cold steel along with his gold accents reflect brilliantly to add that touch of flash that helps increase the images overall wow factor.
The background is lush with vegetation, as any forest should be. The decaying structure in the depths of the picture still proudly displays the marks of its previous inhabitants on the front door. The locale really wears its history on its metaphorical sleeve and invites its viewer to simply dig into the vaunted stories it could tell. It is all set against a twilight sky that bathes everything under it in its healthy purple radiance.
