"It's a really nice day out today, Emily," Leo said as he admired the sky.
"It is..." Emily said quietly.
"You know, I always drive by this place but I've never actually stopped and took a walk through it. You can't really see all the flowers here from the street."
Emily was looking at Leo's hand nervously until she realized that Leo was looking back at her. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "What is it?"
"Why did you and Seraph break up?" Leo asked. "I thought the two of you got along so well."
Emily looked down at the ground, fidgeting. "He wasn't... he's not my type."
"Well..." Leo said with a pause. "What is your type?"
"I like... well, I like nerdy boys. People who like reading and just talking about stuff. Hanging out at the park on sunny days."
"I know what you mean! I love to just chat with people about books and stuff, but there just doesn't seem to be anybody out there like that, ya know?"
Emily winced and tried to think of another way to say it. "Do you know anybody like that I could meet?"
Leo looked back surprised. "You want me to find some dates for you? Well, I know a few guys but they live pretty far away. I don't get to see them often but-"
Leo was cut off as Emily grabbed him by the sleeves and pulled him in for a kiss. Emily couldn't believe she was doing this but at the same time was kicking herself for not doing it earlier. When she finally pulled away, Leo was still paralyzed where he stood.
"I'm not usually this bold," Emily said shyly.
"I like it," Leo said back.
