Remember, "change" doesn't always happen for the better, and that the more things "change", the more they stay the same.

Being British, I have no idea of anything to do with American politices (And worse about my own.) but I /heard/ that Obama couldn't do anything due to the republicians countering and subverting everything he wanted to do. >.>
Obama: "Public Healthcare!"
Republican: "Obama's disembowelatron, must oppose it!"
However this this was the 1950's, I'd probably heard it was the communist spies, sabotaging your "politiks". However a change in healthcare, from your insurnce company model might be a good thing, means everyone can get healthcare despite social status and despite what one crackpot tory said, the British Nation Health Service, is probably our greatest achievement. :D However American having a larger population, you're going to need more resources to implement it.. resources that you probably now don't have thanks to the national deficient. :D Isn't recessions fun?
But for 2009 election, you had /terrible/ choices, is there any other party besides Democrat and the Republicans? A two-party system just seems to polarise politics, and voters are going to be forced to make compromises, just to vote for the one that's going to screw them over least. I suppouse it's a little better than British's system. 99% vote Labour, because..."They've always voted labour." >.O

Lesson learned. Both political parties are not worth shit. Vote for Independents!
Elections are like this, whoever can make a shit sandwich taste better wins. If only we can turn Washington bullshit into energy or gold,we would NOT be buying oil from the Middle East & deep in debt to China and Japan.
