Barn owl I drew up this evening. I am really proud of the ink job on this.
I will color it but I'm not positive as to when yet.

I don't plan on giving this guy those colors, I want to give him darker browns and some red tones I think. :D

They had one at the raptor rescue I'm going to internship at this summer. I think he was only a rehab case ad not a permanent resident so hopefully I'll be sad and he'll be flying free in the wild when I get there.

the outline of the owl is -awesome- but some of the detail lines on the inside of the feathers and on the tree branch express some hesitation. so if you wanted any tips at all, I'd say work on your confidence with ink detailing, because the outline shows youre capable :) great job overall though, inking is one tough bitch
