GIMP can make animated GIFs too, just use a different layer for each frame, save as .GIF, and select "animated" when it asks. http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/Simple_Animations/
(Also your frames appear to be different sizes from each other...? At least, I'm guessing that's why the right-hand side and the bottom borders keep moving...)
