Awesome, I really love how this one turned out too! I hope he wasn't too much trouble to draw, since I tried to give as much reference material as I could but there really just didn't appear to be very much out there lol. The sandals you gave him look pretty cool I think especially, and of course I would definitely get down and do whatever he wants to his wonderful paws~! ^^
Unusual looking sandals, perhaps the equivalent of flip-flops. Rwolf wanting to avoid any potential problems that might go with being barefoot like thorns or sharp stones or just getting them dirty while enjoying some of the freedom of being barefoot and as he's pointing out with feet as nice looking as his it pays to look after them while still keeping them on show for others to admire.
