So I think I might have finally found a method of creating artworks that I like rapidly. I drew a scribble tier sketch, similar to my recent sketchdumps, filled it in and did rough greyscale shading. Then I drew over the lines with low opacity colour, using the dark lines as essentially the darkest areas of shadows.
Somehow I got this done in a little over 2 hours and I'm pretty ecstatic with the result. There might be a few anatomical issues, but I think that comes from the breakneck pace and complete lack of planning :P
Anyhow, here's Razor enjoying a cigarette. I'm off on holiday for a week or so, but I'll bring my tablet. I'm very keen to see if I can develop this further.
