Also, you may've noticed not all the officers are wearing the same officer's apparel...

Well, since almost everyone who bought a cameo bought the officer's version (Hey, suits me, that means fewer characters to draw), having them all the same rank of officer seemed a bit silly.

So in addition to folks who're officers, you've also got gold-tops vs. blue-tops, officers with and without epaulets, and hopefully enough diversity and fluidity between which is what rank that I can manage to still give them a hierarchy between each other (as well as the in-universe justification as to why all the weird-looking "wanderers" are high-ranking Org folk as well -- i.e. they stood out more while doing their job, and were promoted more because of it)

... also, it allowed me to feel like less of an idiot when I realized I forgot to draw a certain character without all the accessories an officer was "supposed" to have. But that's its own issue.
