A drawing from a big roleplay event that myself and my friend Alaskadrawing ran last year as basically a campaign in our Wings of Fire RP group! It was themed around Lovecraftian creatures and spooky things.

What is going on here:
The world recently came under threat of an evil eldritch god. Lostwish (the NightWing), an animus, realized what was going on before everyone else and left to the Outer Lands to try to hold the Gate that the god and his forces would come through (another world called R'lyeh, where the evil god was operating from). In order to enter that other world, she had to separate her soul and body, leaving her body dead in the real world while her spirit worked to hold back the forces of evil in the other world.

Kraken (the teal SeaWing) is best friends with Lostwish, and had been hunting for friend ever since Wish went missing. Joined by Mojave, Moth (SilkWing), Avista (a strange, ghostly Sea-Ice) and Moonwave (Sea-Night), Kraken found her worst fear: Wish's cold corpse.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Mojave (the Sandwing) had been possessed by the evil eldritch god, and revels in the terror, despair, and soon-to-be destruction of those who had been his friends once upon a time. Inside, his true spirit screams for release, wishing for nothing more than to bring Wish back, and to shed his own tears for her.

These events all took place in the Pyrrhia-Pantala RP group.
