On their back, I think it's the same feel you'd get out of petting a german shepherd, or any other middly-short haired dog. The ears are reeeeally soft, like cotton, the whiskers are softer that I expected, and the throat is soft as well, also more or less like a dog's :)

You'll find out that yeah, it's perfectly possible to pet a cheetah without fearing anything. Cheetahs are good! :D

they're fast too....i've seen a leopard....raced one on an old rally bike i redid....and still lost XD mainly cuz i hit a hole....broke my bike to pieces....and the cat was gone....had fun though

Leopards are fast, but not as much as cheetahs, there's no mammal in earth that can beat a cheetah ^^ But leopards are not so friendly, I certainly /wouldn't/ pet a leopard's throat ^^;
