This is a Tarsier piece I did over the summer semester in my Raku class. It was hand built then covered in a white crackle glaze I dyed with a shade of brown(I cannot remember the exact color I used for the dye). The color came out a bit darker than I had wanted but I am still proud of how it came out. I as hoping for a lighter more tan color on the tarsier and a darker brown on the tree but for some reason during firing it decided it all wanted to be poo brown.
It was a gift to my Primate Husbandry teacher and she had to use her phone to take a picture and finally remembered to send it to me today. So yea.. this was done Summer 2009.
Sorry for the bad picture quality.
