A good question to pose, and as things would go, my guess is that consequences would still be our own to bear. Whether our actions are controlled by ourselves or not, we'd still be the one executing the tasks.

A "mind" is not as defined as a "brain". The "Mind" is a Metaphysical entity and, as such, exists outside of the Physical realm of comprehension, which makes this piece all the more fun for me to see posted. As someone (irl) who has been compared to a literal machine in my ability to analyze things (especially data) and make determinations, I feel like for me this experience would be interesting and entertaining, however most people would wonder how much of their experiences are real and probably go through a period of crippling despair that would either see them broken or strengthened.

If I had to pull what your comments section is pulling, however, I'd leave it at *A silver-furred, green-scaled wolf-lizard walks up to you.* "It's up to you to decide how fake, or how real, everything is... you can certainly still do that on your own." *Reaches out with an open hand and gentle expression* "This world will amaze you... if you let it."

Heh glad you enjoy this piece in a bit of a different way~ The idea sure is something intriquing, led to this character being made in the first place after all heh.
It's always that wonder and curiosity~ Even if a mind may be more than bound to something physical, a computer still is a physical thing that has structure to it, even if it becomes more and more complex and difficult to follow as technology advances. I get what you put down though for sure!
And of course, off to get the characters talking hehe

"There's just.. too much at once.. I remember how I felt when I was still 'alive', this is different, yet similar. It can't be compared easily, but you're likely right.." *The fox-like robot gives what seems to be a gentle smile, sincere yet insecure, hesitating to take that hand, held back by conflicts.*

*The Wolf-lizard cocks it's head to the side a bit, thoughtfully, though leaves the paw out for you* "You know, one weird way to look at it is what changed other than the speed at which you're processing the world around you and the materials your corporeal form is composed of? {with a coy smile} Not to mention, you have more tools for self-recognition now than many ever want to have..." *Sighs deeply, retracting the hand to look up... almost reflexively to the thought* "Life has a surety in it's lessons... and a certain aspect of cruelty going along with them, but it's the cruelty meant to make us tougher and the surety to make us wiser and kinder. You never know what will happen until it does, and then your response can change the course of events around the world if you're on a high enough platform, or only for a select few if you're on no platform." *Looks back to you* "While I cannot fathom everything that you're seeing right now, I can certainly attempt to imagine and I honestly don't know if I can keep up... but I have a strange feeling that you're strong enough to keep hope alive... you look to have a certain fire burning within you, one that won't be so easily extinguished." *His blue-green eyes light up slightly, revealing his use of magic* "Yeah... I honestly don't think I could keep up with that train now that I've seen how fast its going..." *chuckles lightly and reaches out, a little closer to you this time, his eyes no longer glowing*


If you feel like I'm going overboard here, I do apologize... as stated prior, I LOVE these kinds of topics because of the metaphysical elements... so I generally take every opportunity to explore them XD
