This prompt inspired me to draw a skeletal thrall, a truly mindless being in every sense of the word. On his crown is Butterfly Bush/Buddleja and Hydrangea, representing rebirth, resurrection and new beginning.
Interestingly enough, when researching Hydrangea symbolism I was unable to find a verified source of this symbolism, and also happened upon meanings of “frigidity/heartlessness” and “vessel”, while also, in some cultures, meaning “heartfelt emotions”.
