To continue with it (and likely the rest of inktober) from the same project a creature that... well more aptly fits Souless actually... But technically soul and mind are kinda linked. And some like creatures/legends can live without a soul, like ppl who sell their soul, or demons themselves. But if your soul is taken and you don't die... well you got a mindless body.
In this case it's a creature that eats the soul of small "vermin" monsters... LIKE GOBLINS! A goblingeist, inspired by the DND version of Barghest, it tricks by shapeshifting into the same monster and devours only the soul of small monsters, preferably weak ones.
It's quite nasty but it takes care of pests! HAAAAAAAAAH!
