Impromptu badge for Baron, my new German Shepherd suit from 
JavaCostumes debuted at FC2010. I did this one Wednesday night before the con with only seeing some work-in-progress photos. The name ties in nicely with the aviator googles and red scarf.
I kept this guy's debut quiet before con and ended up wearing him every day of the con from Thursday to Sunday.
Photos of the suit forthcoming - though he got in the San Jose Mercury News on Monday while waiting for the official photo spot.
Shout-outs to his buddy DeSoto, lil bro Doryuu, and awesome friend Tsuyoto, and of course to Java for building him, RedXIX for being dressing dummy, and MikeYote for just being awesome.

thanks - it wasn't my intention to hide, just surprise folks with a new character. Seems a few people didn't know it was me and are demanding make-up hugs at a future convention.
Unfortunately for you, this aviator dawg won't be getting a bomber jacket. I'd considered it, but suits are already warm enough. Hope to catch up with you later!

No worries dude! I've gotten rather used to the idea of people debuting surprise suits at cons. Heck, even I have worn other people's costumes at this point without people knowing:)
It's an awesome suit! Maybe you could do the bomber jacket if you ever do him as a partial, hehe ^^
