Having drawn the characters naked was to practise anatomy, but I eventually had to come up with clothing for them.
It took a long time to find something that worked, and took the help of the owner of Kohana Jazz (who's character I've drawn and submitted here before) to find something that instantly worked before any colour was put to the flat concept art, which you can see here.

The design is a generic African tribal style, influenced by the many styles found in Africa. While no male has been drawn yet, their clothing would also be of a similar style.
