I got tired of not knowing the states of Mexico, so I got a map of it. Unfortunately for my memory skills, the inland states all look like amoebas. And the coastal states aren't much better. Time for Photoshop!
Buff yellow: border states
Blue: Pacific ocean states
Green: inland states
Light green: Caribbean/Maya heartland states
Red: little bitty states
Bright yellow: Distrito Federal
I still can't recite them all from memory, but I'm getting better at it. This has nothing to do with fur, but there are quite a few furries and anime fans in Mexico. Here's to getting to know each other better.

I was planning on postponing my journey to Mexico until after the U.S. legalizes ganja weed, putting a wet blanket on Mexican organized crime. But that won't happen until 50+ years from now, because the Americans (including me) are descended from puritanical fundamentalists. So I may as well risk it and go to Yaxchilan and Palenque on a tour one of these days. After all, most tourists in Mexico do return home alive, even now.
