So part of my whole new years thing is to try to get better at drawing and actually making more stuff to post. So far, not so great, but part of it was trying to draw from pictures and learning how to draw more lifelike. I found some pics of lynxes online, and tried to re-create one in pencil. Didn't take too terribly long, but it helped me a good bit by learning a good bit about how to draw them correctly.

An artist I admire did say "try to always draw from life, that will help you out the most" or something close to that, so I figured trying to draw realistic for a bit will help me in the long run. I do hope to do more in the next few months as just brute practice in drawing all sorts of things, just for basics and base skills.
