Description: Born in Greece, John Strum came to America at an early age, and his first language is English. As a child, he listened to Steve Vai's Passion & Warfare album, begged his parents for a guitar, and has been playing guitar feverishly ever since. He is a very proficient guitarist, in the same vein as guitarists such as Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. He has a lot of metal influences, but like MusicFox, will play anything that he's given, and likes to explore other genres.
