Yeah thats right, I am planning on making myself a personal art website, but first I have alot of prep-work to do before hand. First up is my logo and name.
Here we see logo design one with name number one in three different typefaces.
1. Cooper Black
2. Chaparral Pro (Bold)
3. Black Castle MF
I would like some feed back on these three and what typefaces you guys like.
Also for names we have:
-Pterodactylus Studios
-The Pterosaur: Art of ShadowRavenX
-Raven's Nest
-Raven's Den
-ShadowRaven Productions
-Prehistoric Productions
-Flying Reptile Studios
and that is all I can think up off the top of my head. Other name ideas welcome. :3

I don't like the 3rd one, I don't think it goes with the smooth-ness of the logo well, personally I like the 2nd's font more, but i think the 1st or the 2nd both work well.
and I think Pterodactylus Studios is original enough and identifiable enough that it's the best of the name bunch.
But I think ShadowRaven Productions will also work if you want to incorporate your current name/gallery.

I'd have the "Pterodactylus" in the font of the top one, but have "Studios" in the font of the second one, but in italics.

although, "The Pterosaur: Art of ShadowRavenX" sounds more like a book or live gallery of your artwork, than a website.

"Pterodactylus Studios" is an interesting name, but a bit of a mouthful. Ever consider playing around with it? Like maybe find a way to fuse it with the word "stylus," as in the computer tool. Heck, your head there almost looks like a stylus. Wait, was that intentional and my sleep deprived brain not registering it?
The roundness of the first font fits more aesthetically with the roundness of the graphic. And I think the "Pterodactylus Studios" is unique enough to be easily identifiable and would go with that.
Things like "Raven's Den" or "Prehistoric Productions" could be to generic and get used by someone else. Likewise, I wouldn't go for something with your name in it if you're going for a site logo...with your name it ends up looking more like a signature.
