This is a gift art for my art-friend at DA, Mari Esperanzo-Reisin, on the happy occasion of her birthday! Dottie thought she'd surprise the possums in her own inimitable fashion. The confection is her own recipe, a red mescal cake drizzled with prickly pear frosting. And she brought her own party poppers, too! I want to personally wish Mari a very Happy Birthday with all the best wishes for the year ahead. She posts GREAT stuff and is just too cool for words. So, in the words of King Louie (The Jungle Book), allow me to humbly say, "I want to be like you"! ^•^
