So I decided that at some point I would want to photomanip myself to look like a Na'vi, even though I have unfortunately not yet seen the movie. I love their designs though.
Anyway, this was practice on my favorite celebrity (it's probably pretty obvious who it is. A lot of the features remained the same). I will definitely go back to this in the future, when I have more practice, but for now I'm happy.
Unfortunately I'm starting to notice some things I didn't notice when it was bigger (I'm looking at the preview image right now).
Oh well. Again, this was for fun and just for practice. So enjoy.

And that's what I hear. My parents went to go see it in IMAX 3D and didn't take me. D: And they didn't even like it! They were all "It's just like the Native Americans. So what?" So I go, "That's the whole point!!" I was so pissed they didn't take me. >=/

Awww man, that totally sucks. If it makes you feel any better, I had to tote along a 14 year old, 11 year old, and 9 year old. << Which isn't fun. lol.
The biggest complaint I heard about it was that it "wasn't original" and it's like... A HURR. What IS original anymore? It's visually stunning-- that's the draw. If I could send ya a ticket I would. ):

I appreciate that. But yeah, I'm with you on the originality kick. Everything is based off of something else nowadays, but this was pretty damn close to original considering it wasn't based on someone else's thoughts, the creatures are original, and yeah, it was based on the Native Americans, but that wasn't the idea. The idea was to warn about what could happen if we were presented with this situation. Don't let history repeat itself.

It's true. Another thing I spotted on IMDB was the film is "racist" because the Na'vi actors are Native American and African American voice actors. People just want to make something out of nothing. -_-
And yeah, tch-- if there was a planet I could visit and hang with the natives as one of them-- sign me the hell up! xD
