Life hadn't been all too kind to Amber so far.
After spending her whole life funds studying on the drama classes at collage the Bunny girl wished for nothing more than to see her dreams as an acting start become true.
Instead she now found herself making a living at a cleaning firm, that involved her having to be dressed like a freaking Maid while doing it!
It wasn't the life she had been dreaming off, but it did pay the bills as she kept on trying to do all kinds of auditions for Film and Theatre roles in her spare time.
That was until Robin started to work there also, cause that's when all of her life started to be about him!
Up until this point Amber had never really had a thing for "Chubby Boys", but there was something about just how innocent and cute to Robin's whole personality and appearance that she just couldn't stop looking at him.
The Deer boy in that girly outfit just seemed so right, and all she wanted was to become an item with him.
Sadly though when she immediately took the chance to tell Robin how she really felt for him she was hit hard with the truth of him saying that he was, "Bisexual, but mostly leaning on guys."
But instead of taking the honest answer to her heart Amber started to instead dissect what he had said to her, and after a little while a much more different and disturbing kind of solution was born into her mind.
"He did say Bi, didn't he? If that's the case then that clearly means that at one point he did like girls, and he could do so again! If I can just "convince" him into trying to let the straight side win then he can finally become mine!" Amber said to herself, before then realizing just how horrible it all sounded when just blurted out like that.
Giving it a few seconds of re-thinking however the Bunny girl just brushed those doubts off as she said, "It's okay. I'm doing this for true love after all! Once he in love with me I'm sure he will also be okay with it."
This all soon escalated into full-blown stalking, as Amber would many times follow Robin home without him knowing, and even follow the rest of her co-workers as they would spend a night out in the city together. (Didn't want to risk being surprised by the news of "Sudden new relationship" out of nowhere!)
But despite what many would say of this behavior Amber wouldn't call it "Creepy" per say, but just her ways of "getting to know better what Robin likes", and during last night she really made a massive breakthrough on it.
Following Robin and his friends Amber saw how the group went to see the premiere of a film at the local cinema, before then going for a midnight snack at a recently open Café.
Peeking in from the windows outside Amber watched how Robin was going crazy over the cookies that had been baked at the place, and knew right then and there that the way to this man's heart was through his big stomach.
Right afterwards Robin almost scared her half to death when he suddenly expressed his love to the Vulpine girl running the place, causing Amber to pass out momentarily over the horrors of losing her dream guy forever!
When she regained her conscious she quickly starred back into the windows, and let out a sigh of relief when seeing that Robin and the Café owner seemed to be okay with just being friends to each other.
Still, that had been to close of a call for her as Amber knew she needed to act fast to win Robin over to her, and knowing now what his greatest weakness is she knew she couldn't waste any more time now!
"Once I'm back home I am going to start doing some baking of my own!" Amber proclaimed as she was on a mission, and it was a mission of love!
As soon as she got home however Amber felt a sudden rush of tiredness hitting her hard, as it had been a very long day and all her body wanted to do now was to REST!!!
So deciding to let Robin "wait on her" for just a little bit longer Amber fell fully dressed onto her bed, before then drifting off into a deep state of sleep.
It was first when waking up by the sound of her roommate Christine making breakfast that Amber remembered her plan for making Robin finally hers, so she headed quickly towards the kitchen to get started on it.
Still looking like a bit of a mess the half-sleeping Amber went straight to the table and grabbed the tools to make her own sandwich, as the black Sheep lady already sitting there looked up and asked "So how did your little "Date Night" go?"
"Urgh! Just terrible!" Amber said while groaning over the small headache pains she had over such a crazy night. "Not only do I waste 2 hours just sitting outside of the cinema, but then I almost passed out over what I thought was Robin proposing to another girl."
That made Christine give her a suspicious-looking glance, as Amber came clean and said "Okay. I did pass out for a short time, but this was a really close one! Let me tell you!"
Christine just rolled her eyes to herself, as she had heard her fair share of tales by now of Amber's quest of finding the one love in her life. (Even before meeting Robin)
The speech had all its usual points like how Amber knew this one was the right for her ("Haven't heard that one before"), or how he simply doesn't know he loves her yet and will soon fall for her. ("Or that one.")
But at the very end Amber did surprise her when she said "But finally I now know what he loves more than anything else, and will be my ticket to his heart.", making Christine admit her own curiosity as she asked "Well, what is it?"
"This tubby guy is such a sucker for chocolate desserts! So if I want to win him over I need to learn how to bake my own delectable, and then simply charm his heart with them." Amber explained, before then worrying her roommate when saying how she was going to teach herself by buying the proper equipment for baking.
"I...don't think you will be able to buy much at the moment, since we...don't have a lot of money left." Christine confessed to her friend, as Amber didn't seem to fully get what was going on.
"Why wouldn't we have any money to go with, when we both work full jobs?" Amber asked confused as Christine asked, "Didn't you see IT when you walked in here just now?" before then pointing towards the corner of the kitchen.
Amber almost dropped her jaw as she saw a brand new tall refrigerator standing inside of her kitchen, as that thing for sure hadn't been there the day before!
"Did you buy this while I was out?!" Amber asked super upset as Christine was now the one needing to speak up as she told the Bunny gal, "That old mini-fridge that was we had was about to die any day now! We needed a new place to store our food in, and that's why I went straight to the hardware store after my shift last night and bought it with the money I had saved up."
"You always have to do these purchases without me getting to know about it, don't you?" Amber asked annoyingly, as Christine simply didn't let her roommate's whining get to her and rationally explained "Only for things that is really necessary for the two of us. Getting steady bikes is the easiest way for us to get to work in the morning, having a washing machine is in the long run a cheaper alternative than going to a dry-cleaner every time, and without a proper fridge we wouldn't have any way of keeping our food fresh!"
Amber didn't like to admit whenever Christine was right about something (Which she almost always was), but there was a reason to why she was the one handling the economy of the two.
"Plus, when looking at our kitchen assets don't you have everything you need?" Christine asked as she went over to the kitchen drawers to pull out all kinds of things for her.
"You have the bowls in different sizes, measuring tools and a whisker to help mix things up, plus a microwave to put it in or cooktop to fry it on with a pan." Christine showed up proudly, before then also adding that there was enough stare money left for her to buy stuff like eggs, flour, and sugar to help make the dessert dish.
But Amber was just seen crossing her arms as she said with a very stern tone, "You forgot to mention an oven.", and Christine could just feel how what she had hoped to be the end of the discussion simply vanished from her.
"Y-Yeah, I guess you might need one of those..." Christine admitted before then having to tell Amber straight that it would be impossible for them to buy one right now and that it would have to take "At least a month to afford one".
"Are you kidding me?! If I let another month pass by then there is a real chance that Robin finds someone to love that isn't me!" Amber said in utter panic, as the very thought of losing such a lovable boy was almost too much for her to handle.
"I can't do more on my side, as I am already working as many hours as possible at the grocery store that I can handle." Christine said, before then suggesting to Amber that she "Finds another way to make some cash."
"But how am I suppose to do that?" Amber asked confused as Christine said as a joke, "If you can put up a good enough act then maybe someone will simply give you cash when you ask them?"
At first Amber just wanted to wave off what Christine had just said to her, but thinking about it herself maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all?
Amber had seen plenty of street performers making quite a sum after a full day on some corner, so why wouldn't she be able to do the same?
Looking at the clock Christine finished up her cup of coffee before telling Amber that she had a "morning pass" that would start soon.
"You are having a morning pass the day after you did a night shift?" Amber asked confused as Christine sighed a bit herself over the ridiculously tight schedule she was giving herself before saying, "If I want the folks at the top to notice me at work I need to show them just how much I can truly handle." as she then left Amber alone in the apartment.
Being all by herself Amber started to focus on her little "Street Corner Performance" plan, as she still hadn't made up her mind on what to do exactly.
Ruling out what was most common to see street performers do Amber created four categories to think after.
Singing.
"I like to think I can nail any song I want to, but I have also heard plenty of British Record Producers in various TV talent shows tell me that is simply not the case."
Dancing.
"Only dance classes I got to practice at Collage was for Ballet, and even then I was told by the dance teacher how I had "Legs as bendy like metal pipes" to work with."
Play an Instrument.
"The only instrument I know that I own is a Triangle, and I'm not so sure how much money endless Triangle solos will bring."
And some kind of Circus Act like Juggling or Magic.
"Given how she made that big fridge appear out of nowhere last night I would say Christine is much more of a magician then I would ever be."
Having now ruled out all of the most common things that street performers was known for Amber was feeling more frustrated than ever before, as she would have never guessed that it would be this hard to come up with something good enough for an audience that would most likely just pass her by without even noticing her.
"You spent years of your life studying drama, and yet you can't come up with an idea on how to entertain people enough to have them throw some spare change at you?!" Amber screamed out in frustration as she buried her face into the table, before then suddenly having a brilliant idea come up.
"Who says that this is all the things you can do when performing at a street corner? Why not actually give them an authentic...Performance?" Amber asked as she quickly headed over to her wardrobe to find the right clothes for the occasion.
Looking into the deepest corner of her wardrobe Amber managed to pick out her all-black long-sleeved shirt and matching pants, which was the standard outfit for drama students to wear in order to be as much of a "Blank Slate" as possible for them to work out off and become someone else.
Reaching even further inside Amber finally found the last missing piece to make her outfit as authentic as an actual drama performer as possible.
A black beret.
Getting herself fully dressed Amber took a look into the mirror, and saw an all-black dressed young woman who just looked like she was into all kinds of deep poetry meetings at clubs.
"Be prepared to be amazed by my theatrical skills now, cause I am getting myself a brand new oven today!" Amber said as she took off into the streets!
Stepping outside and walking towards her planned street corner to perform at the Bunny girl found herself starring at other performers in a very different way now.
When looking at either guitar players, or sketch artists Amber didn't see artists expressing their own style, she saw competition!
While she often saw herself a super talented (But sadly missed out) acting star, she knew she was stepping into very unfamiliar territory with this.
These were literally their streets to earn a living from, and Amber could help but imagine that they all were looking at her like she was some king of "Outsider" trying to "Steal" their places. (What can she say? She often had very overly dramatically scenarios thought out in her head.)
Upon finding a corner that was empty Amber mapped out that plenty of folks would pass by here if they wanted a short-cut to the nearby train station, and figured that this would probably work pretty fine for her.
Placing an empty coffee cup in front of her Amber closed her eyes too focused for a few moments, before then opening them as she was fully emerging into the character she was playing up.
"The World is but a spectrum in an endless sea of doubt! Of concern! Of fears! Fears of what we are, what we have done, and what we will do! What are we to do once this fear takes over us? Do we hide and cry, or do we stand up and fight! Only once when we look directly into the rays of truth will we see just how helpless we really are, and how we all need each other in order to fully survive!" Amber said out, as she also used her whole body to convey all kinds of emotions and positions to really sell what she was just improvising from the top of her head.
Even if it wasn't powerful enough to stop traffic around her, Amber's act was loud enough to create attention from plenty of nearby onlookers. (But that could probably be to just how weird it all was, rather then if it was good or not.)
Still, she couldn't stop now! She was having them at the palm of her hands right now, and if she wanted that oven then she was going to need to keep on at the same pace as she was now!
Meanwhile, out at the coastline Robin and Lemon were seen leaving the "Palm Paradise" spa, having just completed another Naked Yoga section together.
It was a pretty surreal feeling as they left, not only cause this was the first time they tried doing it in the middle of the day during a weekend, but cause for the first time Robin actually didn't feel all that embarrassed to be a part of it.
And it wasn't just caused of him still getting pathetically love struck by the big hunk of a teacher that was the Fennec Fox Timothy either.
When doing the whole routine this time Robin was still aware that he was being completely naked while doing the very revealing body movements in the Yoga pass, but he didn't seem to feel worried if he was being looked on by anyone else at the place.
In previous times maybe he wasn't so ashamed of being seen naked, but rather over the fact that he couldn't dress himself up in any way to make himself look more female-like, and therefore had to actually show his "true self" to anyone. (Letting them know that I was a pretty fat little guy, with a face, haircut, hips, and moobs that all made him look more like a woman than a man.)
He had always been thought to never be ashamed of what you look like on the outside, but maybe this was teaching him that you should also feel proud over what your body actually looks like?
No matter what it was it was something that had really made him feel a lot more light-hearted and easy-going with visiting the nudist spa now, compared to when he set his foot at it the first time.
"What are you thinking about Robin, dear?" Lemon asked as she saw her friend and co-worker were all lost in his own thoughts, as Robin himself snapped out of it all and asked slightly confused "Were you asking me something?"
Lemon let out a small laugh over how adorable Robin could be when being a bit lost as she once again asked him about what was on his mind, and before Robin could answer his stomach started to growl a bit.
"Perhaps I was wondering if you know any good place we could go for lunch?" Robin then asked Lemon, who assured him that she knew just the place that wasn't too far from the Spa.
Walking about a mile across the beach line Robin and Lemon found what seemed to be a nice little Bar & Restaurant set right by the sea titled, "Washed Ashore".
"This place looks pretty neat." Robin said impressed as Lemon also assured him that "They have plenty of good drinks at their Bar, so make sure to experiment a bit." as the two Maid workers ventured inside.
Inside the place looked fairly packed since it was still summer season, and therefore a majority of the costumers were seen dressed in just their swim trunks and bikinis as they sat by the bar and tables.
Finding a table that was fairly close to the bar the two of them ordered first a nice lunch and dessert (With Robin of course asking for two portions of his), before the two friends moved over to hang at the bar.
Lemon wasn't kidding when she said that they had a lot of different drinks and mixtures to choose from, as they both were happy they took the bus here and could just take drink after drink without a problem or care in the world.
As they started to get a bit half-drunk Lemon started to ask Robin what it was he was looking for the man of his life, as the Deer boy had a bit of a thinker to himself.
"Well, he needs to be very kind, and love me for who I am obviously." Robin started before then going on. "I guess he doesn't necessarily need to be big either in muscles or fat, but I just love to have something to hold on to, you know?" A few more drinks later..."Honestly, I don't think I would really be picky about anything. Just be a little cute looking and say that you love me, and I will be more than happy with it!"
It was often true that you get to know the true version of someone when they are a little drunk, and in Robin's case it showed that deep down he was just a very lonely guy that wish for finding a guy that would want to love someone like him.
That's when he felt a tap on his shoulder as a somewhat familiar voice asked, "Excuse me, but I must ask. Have we perhaps seen each other before?"
Looking over both Robin and Lemon saw that it was a pretty good looking Lemur guy, and he did indeed look like someone they had both seen from somewhere in the past.
"My name is Harvey. You might remember me when you came to help clean up the house after my uncle..." The Lemur said before both Robin and Lemon said together "Johnny!", and just like that they both knew just from where he was from!
Harvey had been a part of that big Lemur family that had helped them clean up the house of their deceased family member Johnny, who had ended up being a very hardcore hoarder!
Robin still had shivers over what a nightmare of a place that had been, as he also was so busy working that he never got to know Harvey or anyone else in that Lemur family.
Seeing Harvey now in such a clean and healthy environment made it a lot easier for Robin to get a good look at the Lemur guy, and as he did he couldn't help but find him...very attractive.
Harvey was a pretty handsome looking guy, had very average looking physics, and seeing him taking a seat next to the love-struck Reindeer with a drink in his hand was just asking to get hit on.
Robin wanted nothing else then to just dive headfirst into this little "date" of his, but Lemon beat him to it as she asked Harvey, "How have things been going since last we saw you and the family?"
"We had my Uncle's funeral just a few days ago, actually. And as much of a mess he was to clean after I am going to miss him." Harvey answered, as even he couldn't deny what a terrifying mess that apartment that his Uncle spent his last years had turned out.
Hearing this talk about family made Robin realize that maybe he was too late as he tried to sneak in the question smartly by asking the Lemur, "So how did your wife handle the whole funeral thing?", and much to Robin's inner joy he heard Harvey reply "Actually, I'm not married or even in a relationship. Sorry if I gave you the impression of that."
"Oh, not at all." Robin said calmly (While doing cartwheels inside of his head) as this meant he was not only the perfect boyfriend material, but also free to take!
Trying to show off his best sides Robin started asking Harvey on how he liked to spend his days, as the guy answered "Honestly, I often work so much that I can enjoy just spending the evenings being back at home." before then giving Robin a very peculiar look as he added, "But I wouldn't say no to spend a night either at a restaurant or going to see a movie if that would ever be brought up."
At first Robin wasn't even sure if what had just happened was what he thought it was, but once it became clear that Harvey was actually hitting back at him the young Deer boy almost fainted over the fact that this was actually happening!
"And if we were to go out for dinner, is there anything in particular you like to dine on?" Robin carefully asked as Harvey thought about it for a few seconds before saying, "Actually...I think I would be open to most things they serve. But if I have to pick just one certain thing then I might admit that I am pretty weak for chocolate desserts."
Robin couldn't believe his luck, as Harvey was turning more and more into the perfect match for him! (Cause usually it wouldn't ever go much further than just a quick conversation with most guys.)
Feeling like he was just living a dream now Robin said to himself "Wow. This usually never works out THIS well for me.", making Harvey ask in confusion "What doesn't?"
"You wanting to actually date someone like me." Robin said a bit awkwardly, making Harvey lay a comforting hand on top of his shoulder and ask, "Why wouldn't I want to try getting something started with you? You are so cute, charming, funny. What is it not to like about you?"
"Well, usually when I try hitting on guys after letting them know I am really a transvestite. But with you being so calm and understand about it is really like a dream come true..." Robin said before then suddenly feeling how "cold" the hand of Harvey was getting on his shoulder, as he looked into Harvey's face to see the Lemur guy's eyes sprung fully open as he asked "...what?"
"Oh my god! Did I forget to tell you?!" Robin asked in shock as he had thought for sure he either brought it up during the conversation, or back when he helped Harvey cleaning up at Johnny's home.
But he had in fact forgot to mention it completely, and Harvey had never once noticed that the girl he was talking to was actually a guy.
Even after hearing that Harvey could still barely believe that Robin was anything but a lady, since he had such a cute looking face and..."convincing" chest shapes.
Knowing he had to come clear Robin took off his hairband to reveal small stumps growing on the top of his head that was the Horns that all Bucks would get, and that he had been filing away to try and look more ladylike.
Harvey backed away slightly from the sight of the horn stubs, as he looked even more shocked and horrified by it all starting to make sense inside of his head.
Robin really felt like he had messed this up badly, but he was hoping that by being honest and explaining it all the Harvey he would at least understand everything.
He couldn't be more wrong as Harvey got up from his seat, and looked utterly furious over the two "ladies" he had been sharing a drink with just mere moments ago!
"Was this your plan all along? To act all nice and flirty with me, only to then trick me into thinking I am gay or something?!" Harvey yelled out in great anger, causing more than a bit of a scene at the place.
"No, no! I swear it was nothing like that!" Robin said desperately, but at this point Harvey had stopped trusting anything coming out of the Reindeer's mouth.
"Where you hoping for this to go "all the way" with me? That you would bring me into bed with you, me pulling down your panties, and suddenly see a DONG?!" Harvey asked as he got more and more into Robin's face with it until...
"THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" Yelled Lemon as she stood up and got between Harvey and her friend. "Robin didn't mean to try and trick you in any way! It is cause of the drinks he had earlier that he forgot to tell it to you earlier, as he otherwise is always pretty straightforward about his sexual identity."
Harvey was still feeling like he had been played for a fool, but when looking at how everyone else at the beach bar was starring at them he decided that it would be best to just leave instead of dragging thing on any further.
Placing a bunch of money on the counter to the bartender Harvey told them that they could "Keep the change." as he started to make his way out, giving Robin one last judgemental glare as he passed them both by.
Once he was gone Robin was feeling completely miserable over how he had not only scared but also offended a guy he loved, as he laid over the counter crying his eyes out.
Not being able to see her friend in this state Lemon quickly came to Robin's aid, assuring him that what he did wasn't worth being yelled at like Harvey had been doing to him.
"You just happen to forgot mention who you are under your clothes cause you got a bit caught up in love. That is no reason for him to act like such a jerk!" Lemon told Robin, who while still thinking he was mostly to blame did appreciate having the support of his Skunk friend.
"I just thought...that he could probably have been the one for me." Robin said as he was wiping his tears off. "That he would be the one that would actually fall in love with someone like me."
Taking her friend into her arms Lemon gave a very heart filled hug as she assured Robin, "One day you will find the one that truly loves you. Trust me on that."
"And so when we all look at ourselves in the mirror we do not see what is truly there, but just what we WANT to see ourselves at! It's first when we dare to see our true selves that we can finally embrace the world that we all live in!"
With that Amber had finished her almost 1 hour long and mostly improvised monologue, and to her surprise there was actually a handful of folks that had stayed with her to the end to give her a small applaud once she was finished.
While that was nice and all the thing that Amber was carrying most about was if she had managed to make any money from this act?
Picking up the cup she could see it was nearly full, but also that it was mostly filled with nothing but small change.
Upon counting it all together it made for a pretty decent amount of money, but at last it was far from what she needed.
"I have probably saved myself enough money for grocery shopping this week, but I can't possibly buy myself an oven with this!" Amber said frustrated, as she was starting to feel like this whole "Monologue" thing had just been a complete waste of time!
Walking back home in a pretty frustrated mood Amber spotted a flyer that made her do a double-take, as she wasn't sure at first if she saw right.
The very first thing that caught her eyes was a huge 1,000$ sign, with the word "WIN" being placed right before it.
Walking up close to the lamp post that the posted was placed on Amber saw that this was an ad for a song-writing contest at a local bar called "The Dragon's Hoard Tavern", and the winner of that would indeed be walking out with one whole grand in cash!
"That would be enough to buy me that oven, and then some!" Amber said ecstatically as she looked further into the details of entering the contest, and saw that it was only a few days away from being held!
It was to be held on Wednesday next week, and given that it was Saturday today Amber knew she really had her work cut out for her if she wanted to try and have a shot winning this thing.
Having made up her mind about it Amber quickly sent a text message to the e-mail address listed on the poster, letting them know that there would be one more contender attending!
"Be ready cause that prize money will be as good as mine!" Amber said as she still knew what was the REAL reason she was doing all of this.
"And once I have that money I will get my oven, so I can make my own Chocolate sweets, and then Robin will finally be MINE!!!"
