This is a pic that the user of Deviant Art Mew-Me made for me as a request. In Zootopia I like the concept of alternative universes where a character can be a couple of a different character between universes. This pic is a sample of that where Judy is with Nick in the main universe and with Jack in an alternative universe. In the universe where Judy is with Nick, Jack is single and not romantically interested in anyone. In the universe where Judy is with Jack, Nick is gay and is in a relationship with Finnick. I have another alternative universe where Nick and Jack are together, and where Judy is single and not romantically interested in anyone, but that doesn't appear in this pic.
And yes, I'm a fan of Wildehopps, Savagehopps, Wildefinnick and Wildesavage.

Bogo-Clawhauser is another pairing that's mainly on FA. It's the most popular pairing for both Bogo AND Clawhauser, though both characters are... less popular than Nick or Judy. (Judy is in 60% of all Zootopia pics, Nick in 40%, either of them in 84%. Bogo is in around 6% and Claw in 3%.)

NickxFinnick: About 10x less popular but still quite pretty at 2.8% of pics.
NickxJack: A bit over 1% of all Zootopia pics.
JackxJudy: Around 0.6% of Zootopia pics, so it seems people prefer the boys to couple.
FinnickxJudy Almost exactly as popular, around 0.65% I was surprised at how even they are. Huh.
BogoxClawhawser: 1.2% of pics. This makes it a pretty popular pairing considering there are no main characters.

Both are older males who are wise to the world and a bit cynical. Jack's character is underdeveloped, so he might have had a lot more in common with Nick if they'd both been developed to the end. I can see the similarities, especially if they'd stopped at Jack's fox redesign.

The thing with canon is that you can always add to it. Nick's dad, is he dead? Alive? Nice?Abusive? You can fill in that blank however you want, with BIG consequences for Nick's canon personality. And we see so little of Nick's life there's massive room for invention there. I imagine the sequel is going to annoy many, many people simply because it will have a canon that differs from what they imagine. (Just the comic strips have annoyed a lot of people. Things like Lionheart still being mayor after the movie get some people no end.)
