So if you were paying attention to my username last week, you may see that it had a little "!" next to it. That meant that I was kinda suspended. Soooo, sorry if you were trying to get ahold of me during, but I was kinda unable to as much as even read my notes. XP

Reason for this is that my tickle pic of Dulce from a few years ago, (https://www.deviantart.com/sodiepawp/art/Dulce-de-Leche-620601323) was mistaken for kiddie stuff and the security nerds didn't much like it. Never mind the fact that he has a job and a dating profile, and a bio pic posted mere days before the ban with his adult age plainly displayed. It's a real shame too, cuz that particular pic had some rather meaningful comments down bellow that I personally valued.
Somehow they managed to cherry pick a vaguely flirtatious phrase out of the entire story though, missing over everything else about him being an a grown man. A short and pudgy grown man, but an adult regardless.
I like short fellas with squishy tummies, alright? And that's what I designed Dulce to be, my personal favorite body type. Not that I don't like others, just that if I could re-incarnate into a different body, I'd be four and a half feet tall with a tummy paunch and freckles.


So anyway, I tried to appeal that, even pointing out the bio I'd posted a little while before the ban. Something tells me an ignorant soul clicked on the link and just assumed and got immediately triggered. Careful there buddy, you're going to hurt yourself jumping to conclusions like that. XP
But that's hardly anything really. It was the interaction with the staff that really gave me the pissy face. I tried telling them that he was an adult, that he even had a bio up at the front of the same exact gallery stating such. Mentioned that everyone looks kinda young in my style, old anime and Didney influences and whatnot. Their response?
"I cannot hold Disney and other influences responsible for the content that you upload."
Jesus Christ, way to miss the point there, Mike Pence. I reckon the site director's too busy trying to pretend he doesn't like the cubby types to even look at the words. Look it up if you don't believe me. A real odd rule coming from the site that still supports baby-fur art. (Not judging it, but do you see my main point?)

Well alright, that's not fair of me to assume he's directly responsible, but he kinda is one of the leaders, and since there was no signature on the suspension notice, I'm aiming for the top. He has they power to stop this, in any case.

So what now? Well, another thing they mentioned in the email was "childlike" as well. Which is a very vague term. And I don't like vague terms and conditions, that's how authorities get leverage to step all over smaller folk. What's next to go, Sonic fetish art? Cuz nearly everyone from 8 to 88 looks fresh off the playground. I dread the day Tails is off-limits. Maybe Judy Hopps, or an OC inspired by Zootopia? She sure is short by comparison to Nick. If one fella up top somehow didn't know any better... All they have to do is decide that they don't like it or the person who drew it, and then bye-bye art, bye-bye artist. Or what about people like me who legit can't help it that his characters look twelve even with gray hairs? That just feels borderline discriminatory at that point.
But SodiePawp, artists can change their styles if they tryyyyy hard enough. Well sure, and I can get plastic surgery too while I'm at it. Why not make up a new pronoun just for myself too? I could, but why? I've spent years learning to love myself and be comfortable in my own skin, and my artwork is a similar story. I spent years picking out things that I love from dozens upon dozens of different styles and influences. Many of which were kids' shows. Little by little I've crafted my style into something I've always wanted, something I've always admired in other artists' styles. This is how it is and how I like it. I can draw bones and musculature, sure, but I'd rather draw my own characters in a more soft style, with some tone here and there for some. And I'd be an exceptionally resentful person if I changed my style to something more adult-friendly, so to speak, just because some prudes think my characters look a little too cartoonish or young. If you can't respect me at my squishiest, ya don't deserve my at my hunkiest, hun.

But SodaPoop, I thought you liked younger characters!
I like anything smol and cute. Not exclusively young ones. Puppies make my very soul melt. And tickles are a very emotionally charged thing for me, not just a quick fetish. When it comes to art, the borders of adorable and kinky merge and mix. Smol and cute is what I go for sometimes, like with Dulce and Merrick. Both able to buy booze in the States (even though Merrick doesn't have an ID), but yeah, they got baby-faces, all without shaving too, no less.

Aren't you forgetting something, SodiePimp? You've drawn cubby-rific stuff before.
Of course, such characters are primed and perfected for the smol/cute roll, aren't they? In real life, I know better. Just like how I know not to go perforating a mall after playing GTA 5 for weeks and neglecting commissions and hygiene in the process (sorry). Or how I know well better than to go make a living turd out of myself after watching and laughing hysterically watching Jackass. Same deal with art. Young characters are cute, and so I relegate my interests to art, where no one gets hurt, and where Sodie gets his most perverted rocks off. And if I may be so open, it kinda helps me heal a part of my past that still is a visible scar on my heart. But that's another episode for a different show. For now, the TL;DR of that is that yes I do, but Dulce is a college boi, and even if not, who cares.
Calm down son, it's just a drawing. It isn't the real thing.


I think that about covers what all I've been itchin' to say for a little over a week. This is otherwise a splendid site, albeit with rampant security concerns that seem to be ignored in favor of weeding out the short adults. And I'd like to keep posting my stuff here, but people can run their sites however they like. So I may not be here for much longer if reverend fat-man catches wind of this and decides to eat me. Or he can come be diplomatic to me, and make me feel like a real jerk for writing that. But the admins' track records don't give me much confidence in that outcome.
