I drew the original mermaid many years ago, so I designed an updated version of her to splash on designs and everything else.
Humaliwo is the chumash word for Malibu. The word has three meanings: where “the surf sounds loudly”; “where the mountains meet the sea”; or “Place on the cliff”. So she’s like the original beach babe.
