No amount of palm fronds can fan away the sticky heat which emanates from the soles of Anubis. His musk is unique to him, unique to a god; a pinch of exotic herbs and sundried fruity aromas that leave a lasting penetration on one's senses. To lie below the weight of Anubis's pressuring sole and against the unhygienic surface of his sandal, experiencing that head-sizzling mixture of scent and heat, is a punishment worthy enough for Zeki. Any mortal who dares touch a god without permission is due his wrath!
The drawback is that a god's realm is a timeless, deathless dimension.
Here Zeki can remain a permanent fixture against Anubis's sole indefinitely. The question is, would Anubis leave him there deliberately or simply forget his existence entirely?

That is true but the fact he was probably forgotten and does not even have the strength to escape his "prison" only to be trampled on for pretty much an eternity is incredible. He literally became his insole, just another part of that warn sandal. All that he is and ever shall be is that...hell even if he managed to get away, at this point he'd permanently smell like Anubis's paws
