very lovely!

I just lost my companion of 18 years, his name was Five, he was all-black, American Shorthair with possibly some persian or egyptian ancestry. He loved everyone. He died from kidney failure. So this piece struck a chord with me.

sorry to hear that. He was the first cat I adopted myself as a kitten and raised mostly by myself. 3rd cat in total, I think I'm done raising pets tho far too painful in the end.
