As some of you may or may not know, the mysterious Anubian Jackal Ahlu was not always a divine being. In fact he was once a mere mortal human, chosen by unknown means by the old Egyptian gods to join the pantheon. Unfortunately for Ahlu, he had to lose all memory of being a mortal in the process. Though muscle memory remained, as shortly after Ascension, he found that unresistable urge to stand guard before the grand pyramid temple of Anubis. Armed with just a traditional bronze spear and a commoners shield, Ahlu was looked upon with confusion as the newly made god still acted as a mortal being. Unfortunately for the poor jackal, he would become buried and sealed away in time by the Egyptian gods as a final survivor of a great cataclysm, only to be awoken when the chosen hero would reawake him when the world was most in peril...
