What do you use to make these eyes? I'm making my first head and the eyes have me stumped. Thanks!

The whites are plastic bowl and the iris and pupil part is coloured buckram.

White plastic bowls are not easy to come by, these are clear bowls painted with white enamel paint. It may be easier for you to use foamies (aka fun foam) since they're easily cut with scissors. Buckram comes in many forms so you have to find stuff with a loose weave and that doesn't have glue impregnated into it. Also when you use buckram colour the part that's inside the head black. This reduces glare so you can see better :)

how was the mesh done on these? is this one color of material that you colored yourself, or was more then one material color used and put together some way? I normally use plastic and paint to make eyes, but have been trying to figure out how the mesh material eyes are done

The mesh is buckram, which is all white when you get it, this is then painted to the desired colour on one side and the reverse side is coloured black to help you see through it
