Desmond is an alchemist prodigy that just loves causing unwarranted changes in people. So out of a mixture of boredom and desperate need to get back in a writing groove to finish SOMETHING, I thought I'd list off some descriptions of his more prominent achievements. I'm sure I missed some but that can be added on when they come to me. Enjoy! :3
Desmond's alchemic inventions
Static Fuzz

Description: A carbonated drink laced with enzymes to excel the body's production of adrenaline and estrogen.
Effect: Meant to act as a healthy way to boost energy in women; the drinker will experience extremely high levels of stamina and endurance, often accompanied with various degrees of enhancement to their muscle structure and sexual characteristics. The addition of lycathian juice mixed with animal DNA for flavoring unique to each line has the added side effect of transforming the drinker. Most users also experience sexual arousal for a short time after the change, also to degrees that varies from person to person. If consumed by a male, they will be turned into a fully functional female. The effects men experience are amplified several fold by the enzymes need to create large amounts of estrogen for the process.
Currently three types of static fuzz are in production;
*Energy Drinks are mixed with DNA from a specific species of pokemon for each flavor, turning the drinker into an anthropomorphic version of said species. Due to the enhancements brought on to all physical attributes, its use had been banned prior to official sporting events. And yes, they literally have 493 flavors of energy drinks...
*Sodas are mixed with DNA from normal animals, but usually only give the drinker additions of animal ears and tails. Although this is largely random, ranging all the way to full transformed anthros (and in rare cases, feral). This line tends to work more towards enhancing the drinker's sex appeal.
* Vitamin water provides the same energy boost and physical enhancements as the other two, but lacks the lycathian flavoring to give further transformations.
Duration: Women tend to stay transformed anywhere from 12 to 36 hours after consumption, varying on amount consumed and energy burned during effect; after which time they will regress back to their previous state in a matter of minutes. Men have had their DNA completely rewritten for the changes to take place, and are thus stuck in whatever form they become. In this state they are constantly under the effect of Static Fuzz and no longer effected even by other lines of the product. However, their bodies can still be changed by other means...
Shock Spike
Description: 'Brother' drinks to Static Fuzz, only designed to enhance the body's production of testosterone.
Effect: Same as Static Fuzz and all its product lines; including various degrees of enhancements to male genitalia.
Duration: Same as Static Fuzz; male consumers experience the effects for roughly two days after consumption. Females unfortunate enough to drink it permanently change into a male variation of their product line; usually with extremely exaggerated muscle structure and genital size.
*NOTE* these drinks do not act as 'antidotes' to each other due to the mixture of different types of hormone enzymes. Nine out of ten trials have resulted in the subject permanently becoming a hermaphrodite; four of which had their bodies enhanced to a 'hyper' state.
The tenth became a rampaging chimera that made a meal out of my second lab assistant. Results may vary and done at your own risk...
Mega Shake

Description: A drink composed mainly of juice extract from super mushrooms and mineral water. It has a very vial flavor.
Effect: Moments after consumption, subject will rapidly gain anywhere from 20 to 60 feet in height. Amount consumed does not seem relevant to results, though will stack on subjects which are already 'macro' before or after growth from the initial consumption.
Duration: Usually six to nine hours, though if additional Mega Shake is consumed the size can prolong effects for days, or even weeks. Subjects usually expel a large amount of gas shortly before rapidly shrinking back to normal size.
Mega Shake (flavored)
Description: Same great potions, now with a flavor that won't make you vomit! Pretty much Mega Shake mixed with another drink or added sweeteners.
Effect: Additions of other types of drinks or sugars does make Mega Shake great for consumption, but greatly null its Super Mushroom effects. General drinking usually results in a maximum growth of 150% the subject's original size. Makes for a great twist for drinking games, though.
Duration: Growth tends to linger for a few hours upon reaching 'maximum' size. This ending period is also signaled by the uncontrolled, and undignified, release of large amounts of bodily gas prior to shrinkage. Unless pure Mega Shake is added on, then I would be more concerned about the security deposit.
WD-FEV Motor Oil
Description: Need a ride? Bum one off a friend...literally! Forced Evolution Virus thickened with fossil fuel minerals, and yet oddly goes good on pancakes.
Effects: Turns the consumer into a living, fully functioning vehicle; although the type is vastly random each time. In this state, the subject can be driven and operated like any other transportation, but maintains awareness and can even communicate to varying degrees (such as through a radio). However, their driver has complete control over all primary functions.
Duration: Until their fuel tank runs on 'empty.' Because they are technically alive, a car-person will gradually consume fuel even when not having an active engine. This also means time spent as a vehicle varies largely on number of gallons their tank can hold, and if their 'friend' decides to make regular stops to 7/11.
Uberchip cookies

Description: Chocolate chip cookies, sprinkled in cinnamon to cover the taste of the special physique enhancing medicine mixed in.
Effect: Subject instantaneously gains upwards to 300% in body mass, almost all of which is muscle. Sexual enhancements may also be experience for both men and women. Only one bite is required. Additional consumption does not seem to add on the initial effects.
Duration: So long as the subject engages in regular physical stressing activities, than the change becomes permanent. Otherwise muscles will rapidly deteriorate after three days, with the subject returning to normal size after another four.

Description: It's just your everyday #2 pencil...with strange glowing runes carved all over it...
Effect: In most cases it acts as a normal pencil that never needs to be sharpened. However, if used to vividly describe a specific creature (fictional or real) the pencil and paper will ignite upon completion and gradually turn its owner into the being described. This includes physical and special abilities. If the sheet is signed with the owners name their memories and personality only suffer minor alterations. If not then any victim coming in contact with the paper is completely over ridden by the creations persona.
Duration: The change of a single creator is permanent, but if a subject is fortunate enough to find more pencils they can alter their bodies again under the same basic process. In some cases the magic can also be removed through special means, but rarely results in the subject being turned completely back to normal (ex. A boy turned into a catgirl being returned to a human girl).
Choco Greens

Description: Your typical chocobo feed, mixed with some purple colored fluid that makes it great in a dinner salad-WARK! >@.@;<
Effect: Turns anyone that consumes into a chocobo. It is a very slow process, but can be sped up by additional consumption. This is helped by the addictive nature of the greens giving the subject a nearly undeniable craving for them until the transformation is complete. Feather coloring is usually mirrored of the subject's primary color prior to changing. (ex. A red fox would most likely have all red feathers)
Duration: One hour for each quarter pound of greens consumed. This change can become near-permanent through regular feedings.

Yeah, that's one reason why most of Kaaji's trinkets either cause temporary effects or can easily be undone. It's not as fun if you can't transform them again!
I always pondered whether consumption effects would be shortened due to Luos having a faster metabolism and cell regeneration rate. Either that or if Luos becomes wise to the cookies, you could encourage her to keep exercising and take advantage of her strength. Then her muscles would not shrink back X3

I just thought of something. Would anything happen if someone dunked the cookies into milk before eating them? It would be neat if it caused a slightly different effect. For example...maybe if a girl did that, it would make her become a big amazon (Tall, muscled hourglass figure) instead of just getting bulky everywhere. Just a thought.
