Mac check by own "sonar" a Cherry's body, and found that under gloves has very strange wounds. He ask her to remove gloves from each other, and take off own gloves first, with showing his heavy n' black limiters, who looks very unusuall. Cherry got scared, and after that said that she afraid of showing what she have, but Mac persistent and said that worsen than he have nothing will be.
With small pain Cherry took off her gloves, and with shy show her wounds what she's got from 6 year old,.
Her hand wasn't restored because she want keep nessesary memories with this wound. Itself wound not makes pain, many nerves degraded, and blood circle goes only on corner of hands, and with leak of muscules and tendons she can't grab strongly. Metal plastines is Hyperion special material who keeps bones connected even better than with metal.
Mac ask her to restore her palms, but she refused.
And he left to watch her hands, who are beautiful and terrible at the same time.

well I'm not a doctor, but I've learned over the years from seeing others get hurt and my own personal experiences of smashing fingers and cutting myself to the bone. several times I could see my own tendons and bone in the cut, I once even chopped my foot with an axe. what I learned is that even if you don't go to a doctor to have bones set or get stiches the cuts will be filled with scar tissue and the gaps in the bones will fill with calcium. whether you like it or not you'll eventually end up with a neat (or nasty) looking scar where the wound once was.
