So. I asked to her lady, mother of all properly mannered monsters,  Forgess, if i could adopt this design.

I really like this version of a mermaid, and yes i'm going to use it in my RPG setting.

I named her Kaimana Kealolha (magic diamond of the sea, beloved).

As usual "nomen omen". i did not go for a danish or greek name as would have seemed appropriate for a mermaid, but for an hawaiian one. Hoping Hawaiian people reading here will correct me if i misused the name.

While Hina or Mokuna or any of the Mo'o spirits would have probably been better as names to chose (though, yes, i'm very aware that Mokuna is a male name, i just needed examples 😅), i wanted something more "down to earth" so to speak, because she is not supposed to be a spirit or magic. """Just""" a mermaid.
