Ah. I'd thought your quote was something GLADOS might have said. Like I mentioned, I've never played Portal, or Half-life. Black Mesa gets mentioned in the John Coulton song "Still Alive", which was used in Portal's end-credits, so I was familiar with the name. I don't know if it actually shows up in the game itself.
I never got into the newer games, really- I grew up in the '70's and '80's, when things like Donkey Kong and Galaga were around. Heck, the first, and only, game console I ever had was an ancient Atari that was old when I got it in 1983. *chuckles* Missile Command was so primitive, and Asteroids, but they were fun at the time.
Just never had the $$ to even rent a later game, like Half-Life, or even a console to play it on.

LED with a "flicker" chip. Cannibalize one of those little "no heat" faux tea-lights! Get someone to put the LED on a longer wire, re-solder it to the chip (hidden inside your "bomb") and stick a battery on that and voila! Instant prop!

I had a blast- I was in the Furry Marketplace, running a table. You might have seen it if wandered through there- mine was the one with the Na'vi bust on it. I was the round little person behind it wearing SteamPunk clothes and a black leather officer's hat with a big Dr. Steel button on it.

as a hard head my father is, it might take a while.
not being angry at him, but he is litterally stubborn.
his stubborn-ness almost got me killed when i was working on a car's automatic trans filter, the jack was tipping and he told me to get under the car and start working.... tipped over, saved by the car tire slid under the car. those damm mere inches...
but now, all anyone can do is just wait and hope.

You might be able to clean it with a dry brush, but you'd have to be industrious- pop off the keys (be sure to arrange them in their proper order on a table so you don't mix 'em up) and carefully brush off the contacts. But if your board got so fried that contacts cross-connect, you might just see about finding another keyboard. There's places that sell used stuff for pretty cheap- and keyboards go for next to nothing.
