"Huff. Huff. Urk!" The lion felt his legs begin to give way. He was having trouble breathing now, as his midriff squished against his chin just by the mere act of bending over.

"Urk." He let his tongue out, panting while he tried to regain focus in his eyes. "That workout... used to be so easy." Feeling his posture lower from exhaustion, the lion had to support himself by resting his hands on his legs. "Here I go, spouting to the team... huff... that they can do this workout easily, but I can't even do it without feeling like my legs are on fire!"

The lion tried to correct his posture, but as he lifted his hands off his legs, he felt them brush against the massive sides he now had. The fur on his belly was soft, but he was hoping to feel the cotton shirt he was wearing -- not his belly fat.

"Wha?" Gazing down at his belly, the lion felt a wave of confusion pour over himself. Since when did his belly not fit in his workout shirt? Either he needed to get a new shirt, or he needed to lose all the weight he acquired. Of the two options, one of them seemed a lot easier and more appealing.
