I'm aware of how simplistic and generic this art is (if you can even call it that), but the basic nature of the figure and the generic nature makes it more universe and thus applicable to more people.
Almost all of us will have a moment like this at some point in our lives, it is nigh-unavoidable. Crushed, dejected, despairing, mournful, melancholy, sorrowful, lost, alone, self-hating or even just simply sad.
It is what we do to get back onto our feet that matters, supposing we ever decide to stop sitting in the rain lost in our own emotions, thoughts and situation.
