Okay so I've been TRYING to design a genie girl for myself for a while now (Princess was sort of an accident and not very well thought out) but it's hard not to just do Rouge from Power Stone or the Fighting EX Layer version of Pullum Purna. But as I was working on one I bumped into a cute picture of a "basic white girl" and incorporated some of those elements into the design and...BAM!

Latrisha the Basic Genie Girl!

I think what I really love about this design is how multi-layered it wound up being, which is making it hard to decide on her backstory. Idea 1 was that she was a basic white girl named Trisha that got cursed to be a genie and is really bad at it (she insists her name must be LAtrisha now due to her new skintone). Idea 2 was that someone made a plastic novelty genie bottle and due to some kind of "defect" it wound up accidentally containing a genie. Either way she's not good at the whole genie thing.

But I kinda like how she looks both like a "basic white girl" and like some kind of 80s dancer/aerobics girl, she looks like a weird mashup of black and white too in a very unnatural way and I kinda like the idea of her having a bit of a split personality too so I might have to work on that.

Either way I kinda freakin' love this girl.
